Casper Esmann is a Danish fingerstyle guitarist and songwriter known for his original compositions as well as covers. Esmann was a finalist in "Acoustic Guitarist of the Year 2018" held by renowned MusicRadar. Casper Esmann is one of Scandinavia's most popular fingerstyle guitarists around today. Casper was born on December 7th 1992 in Slagelse, Denmark and was almost immediately introduced to the piano by his mother. After several years of piano lessons Casper then discovered Tommy Emmanuel when he was 14, this encounter made him pickup the guitar immediately. Since there were no teachers in Denmark who taught fingerstyle back then, Casper had no choice but trying to teach himself how to play by listening to CD's and watching live DVD's from Tommy Emmanuel. He has since then released several studio albums, played and performed with many famous musicians from all over the world, including Sungha Jung, Andy McKee, Joe Robinson, Adam Rafferty and his all time hero Tommy Emmanuel. Casper has been touring all over the world for the past couple of years, right from Europe and USA to Russia, China and Japan.
