Bahtera is the mononym and musical project of Dynan Fauzan, an Indonesian singer-songwriter, composer, producer, and vocalist of "The Black Boots". Founded in 2023, Bahtera serves as a space for Dynan to explore alternative and pop music while developing a distinct identity through songwriting, production, and visual storytelling. His music explores themes of self-reflection, human behavior, relationships, personal struggles, identity, morality, and the complexities of navigating life through the noise of the outside world. Through introspective lyrics and immersive production, Bahtera transforms personal experiences into stories that leave room for listeners to interpret them through their own perspective. Bahtera released his debut EP, "Di Ujung Dunia Aku Sendiri", in 2024, establishing the project’s early musical and thematic identity. The EP was followed by releases including "Perihal Omongan Belaka", "Persetan Harapan", "Medusa", "Terimakasih, Kawan", and "Apa Ada Nya". For Bahtera, music is more than a collection of songs.
